I have attended the Drink Chile 2023 Trade Walk Around tasting on Monday November 20 at Windsor Arms Hotel in Toronto ,as part of annual chilean Wine Festival. The Annual celebration of Chilean wines returns to Toronto for 2023 !
According to Wine of Chiles brochure from the event Chile continues its ambition to be the number one producer of Certified Sustainable wines from New World. The province of Ontario remains Canada's largest market for Chilean wine
The following is a summary of my notes and photo's from this event :
1. A live walk around trade tasting with more than 120 wines from 17 wineries to taste
2.A feature table from LCBO's Cellar Collection
3.Audio Tours and tastings every 15 minutes for a quick overview of Chile's wine reguons and wine styles
At the time of my visit 2:00 to 3:00 p.m the tasting hall was packed to capacity and was extremely noisy. (see attached photos ).The light food pairings were gone in the first 30 minutes or so to my surprise.
